Details... sometimes speak volumes

I recently photographed a pillow on a couch; though something that looks and seams so simple - I feel it speaks volumes.... inviting you to relax, read a book, watch a movie, enjoy a cup of tea and true comfort!!!

These are the types of details that we desire so much to help stand out in either your home or business :)

Huron House - Oscoda, Michigan

My husband and I are super excited to be visiting the Huron House again.  We found this wonderful Bed and Breakfast while we lived on the east side of the state and loved it.  Perfect for any couple and a great place to relax, plus just beautiful being on Lake Huron.

I decided to create a very simple website in case anyone desired to read more information about photoraphing Bed and Breakfasts and Inns.... this is a new little passion of mine and who knows where it will go but I'm excited anyways :)

fun products....

I've had the opportunity of photographing some more products.  Though this is just for an etsy account; it is always fun for me to think of different and new ways to make it look interesting.

Timeless Places

I admit, I've been busy just at my normal job that I haven't taken the time or effort to focus in on my photography, but every once in a while I am reminded how much I love doing photography.  I guess you could say today was one of those days....

Here are a few pictures from some of the adventures my husband and I have had... I love to take pictures of amazing locations that I feel could be lost many years from now - so much of our historical places seem to go that way....

So here are a few pictures of some timeless places that I hope will never change

I had the opportunity of assisting a local photography company with photographing and organizing various photographs of a product called cards of wood.  They are based here in Western Michigan, and create their products all from wood - so invitations, business cards, Christmas cards, notebooks etc.

Through photographing different products, I was able to explore different options along with different settings to best represent the product.

Here are a few examples of some of the photographs I took.

I had the opportunity of assisting with a wedding that was located in an adorable "mill" south of Grand Rapids, Michigan.  I have lived in Michigan for a good portion of my life and never realized this adorable area south of where I had spent my highschool and some of my college years.

As I walked into this area, I was overcomed with the beauty and angles in order to portray how quaint and adorable it was.
